The European Confederation of Roller Skating (, CERS), currently branded as World Skate Europe (WSE; infrequently as 'World Skate Europa'), is a governing body of roller skating and inline skating in Europe. The World Skate Europe is a member of World Skate, formerly the International Roller Sports Federation (FIRS). Women's Roller Hockey World Cup
The Women's Roller Hockey World Cup is a competition between the best female national teams in the World. It takes place every two years and it was organized by the FIRS until its integration into World Skate. History Roller Hockey has a Women's Championship which has taken place every two years since 1992 until 2017, when the FIRS agreed to integrate the championship into the World Roller Games. It is now organized by the World Skate. The first edition, played in 1992, was played with the traditional quads except for the Canadian team, who wore inline skates. OK Liga Femenina is a Spanish rink hockey league for women. It has been held since 2008 and is the women's version of the men's OK Liga. History The OK Liga Femenina was created in 2008. In its first edition, it was played without Catalan teams due to the high costs of the travels during the competition. Competition format The championship is played through 26 matchdays in al round-robin format, a format quite common in other sports such as football. The top team when finished to play the 26 matchdays is the champion. OK Liga
The OK Liga is the Spanish rink hockey league. History The league was founded in 1969 as División de Honor as an expansion to all the Spanish territory of the Catalan Championship. Until 1971 teams from outside Catalonia did not join the competition. The league changed its name to OK Liga in 2003 and in 2009 the playoffs for the title, that were established in the 2000–01 season, were abolished while several rules from other sports were approved. In April 2017, a new name change for the 2017–18 season was approved and the top tier would be renamed as the OK Liga Oro while the second tier as ''OK Liga Plata''. Also, a new national third tier competition ''OK Liga Bronce'' (with four interregional groups) was foreseen, but due to the lack of interested teams, it wasn't created and the third tier remained at regional level. The Portuguese Roller Hockey First Division ( pt, Campeonato Nacional da Primeira Divisão de Hóquei em Patins or simply ''1ª Divisão''; literally: Roller Hockey First Division National Championship) is the premier roller hockey league in Portugal. It was established in 1939 and Sporting CP were crowned as the first champions. Porto are the record winners with 24 titles. History and Information About the Israel Association The Roller Hockey sport was brought to Israel in 1957 by "a handful of fanatics" led by Mr. Aaron Jordan. The association was founded in 1973 by organized skaters, who later grew and developed under the name Association of skates in Israel. Today, the association contains more than 800 members from 30 registered clubs. History The italian championship was formed in 1922 by the first teams who subscribed to the newborn italian federation FIPR (Federazione Italiana Pattinaggio a Rotelle). England National Roller Hockey Team
The England national roller hockey team is the national team side of England at international roller hockey. England started as the leading team in the sport, being the winner of the first 12 editions of the Rink Hockey European Championship, from 1927 to 1939, with the 1937 and 1939 editions also serving as Rink Hockey World Championship, but were unable to keep the same position after World War II. England reached the podium in 1947, when they finished in 2nd place, losing the title to Portugal.
