Coming of Age is a R&B quintet group that consist of Israel Spencer, Tao Kese, Terrance Quaites, Ivan Shaw and Maranthony Tabb. The group signed to Atlantic Records in the 1990s. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1993 and peaked in the top ten of the Billboard Top Heatseakers chart. Their debut single "Coming Home to Love" peaked at number twenty-seven on the US chart, their follow up in 1994 "Baby Be Still" peaked at number sixty-three. Compton is a city in southern Los Angeles County, California, United States, situated south of downtown Los Angeles. Contemporary R&B
Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. The genre features a distinctive record production style, drum machine-backed rhythms, pitch corrected vocals, and a smooth, lush style of vocal arrangement. Zoo Entertainment was an American record label formed in 1990 by Lou Maglia. Zoo released three platinum records by the group Tool (band), Tool, as well as gold records by Green Jellÿ and Matthew Sweet. During the record company's early years, music industry executive George Daly (music executive), George Daly was the label's original Vice President of A&R. Atlantic Recording Corporation (simply known as Atlantic Records) is an American record label founded in October 1947 by Ahmet Ertegun and Herb Abramson. De La Soul () is an American hip hop trio formed in 1988 in the Amityville area of Long Island, New York.
