Combat Logistics Regiment 17 (formerly designated as Headquarters Regiment, 1st Marine Logistics Group) is a logistics regiment of the United States Marine Corps. It is subordinate to the command of the 1st Marine Logistics Group (1st MLG), I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF). The unit is based out of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. Mission Provide command and control, administration, communications, food services, services, landing support and terminal operations and security support to the 1st MLG. I Marine Expeditionary Force
The I Marine Expeditionary Force ("I" pronounced "One") is a Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) of the United States Marine Corps primarily composed of the 1st Marine Division, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and 1st Marine Logistics Group. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton
Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is the major West Coast base of the United States Marine Corps and is one of the largest Marine Corps bases in the United States. It is on the Southern California coast in San Diego County and is bordered by Oceanside to the south, San Clemente and Orange County to the north, Riverside County to the northeast, and Fallbrook to the east. Combat Logistics Battalion 13 (CLB-13) is a logistics battalion of the United States Marine Corps. In garrison, it falls under the command of Combat Logistics Regiment 17 and the 1st Marine Logistics Group; however, when deployed, it forms the logistics combat element of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit. Combat Logistics Battalion 15 (CLB-15) is a military logistics battalion in the United States Marine Corps based out of Camp Pendleton, California.
