Comarques Of The Valencian Community
The ''comarques'' of the Valencian Community, form an intermediate level of administrative subdivision between municipalities and provinces. They are used as a basis for the provision of local services by the Generalitat Valenciana, but do not have any representative or executive bodies of their own. In 1987, the Generalitat Valenciana published an official proposal for Homologated Territorial Demarcations, ''Demarcacions Territorials Homologades'' (DTH), of three degrees, where the first degree largely coincides with the territorial concept of ''comarca''. Until now, the practice of these demarcations has been limited as a reference to the administrative decentralisation of the different services offered by the Generalitat, such as education, health, or agriculture. Albocàsser () or Albocácer in Spanish language, Spanish is a municipalities of Spain, municipality in Castellón (province), Castellón, Valencian Community, Valencia, Spain. Camp De Túria
Camp de Túria ( es, Campo de Turia) is a ''comarca'' in the province of Valencia, Valencian Community, Spain. Geography It comprises the lower reaches of the river Turia and its adjacent territories. Borders with the region of Camp de Morvedre and the counties of Horta de Valencia. The south by the counties of Hoya de Buñol, west to the region of the Serranos, and north by the region of Alto Palencia. Sagunto
Sagunto ( ca-valencia, Sagunt) is a municipality of Spain, located in the province of Valencia, Valencian Community. It belongs to the modern fertile ''comarca'' of Camp de Morvedre. Vinaròs () is a city located in eastern Spain and the capital of the Baix Maestrat in the province of Castelló. It is in the border between the Valencian Country and Catalonia. Vinaròs is a fishing harbour and tourist destination. History The first historical record of Vinaròs is in 1233, when the Moorish hamlet of ''Binarlaros-Ibn Arus'' in eastern al-Andaluz was captured by King James I of Aragon. Villena () is a city in Spain, in the Valencian Community. The musical term alto, meaning "high" in Italian (Latin: ''altus''), historically refers to the contrapuntal part higher than the tenor and its associated vocal range. In 4-part voice leading alto is the second-highest part, sung in choruses by either low women's or high men's voices. In vocal classification these are usually called contralto and male alto or countertenor. Such confusion of "high" and "low" persists in instrumental terminology. Segorbe
Segorbe is a municipality in the mountainous coastal province of Castelló, autonomous community of Valencia, Spain. The former Palace of the Dukes of Medinaceli now houses the city's mayor.
