Columbia Sussex is a privately owned hotel company based in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. The company, owned by the Yung family, owns and operates hotels in various parts of the United States. The current president and founder is William J. Yung III. Current portfolio , the company operates 40 hotels under 3 different major brands and many sub-brands consisting of 30 full-service Marriotts including 1 JW Marriott and 3 Renaissance Hotels and 1 limited service Courtyard by Marriott, 2 Hyatt Regency Hotels, 2 Westin Hotels, and 5 Hiltons including the Boulders Resort which is formerly a Waldorf Astoria property now operating under Hilton's Curio brand and 1 DoubleTree Hotel. President Casino Laclede's Landing was a stationary riverboat casino in Saint Louis, Missouri owned by Pinnacle Entertainment. History The President Casino opened in 1994 on the SS ''Admiral'' shortly after Missouri legalized riverboat casinos. When it opened, it included 100 table games and 150 video poker machines within its 70,000 square feet of gaming space, as early gaming regulations required games to be of skill. It was owned by the now-defunct President Casinos which had other riverboat casinos in the mid-1990s. Isle of Capri Casinos attempted to buy the President Casino unsuccessfully, but later, Pinnacle Entertainment bought the property for $46 million. Vicksburg, Mississippi
Vicksburg is a historic city in Warren County, Mississippi, United States. It is the county seat, and the population at the 2010 census was 23,856. Laughlin is an unincorporated resort town and census-designated place in Clark County, Nevada, United States. It is located on the Colorado River, directly across from the much larger Bullhead City, Arizona. Laughlin lies south of Las Vegas, in the far southern tip of Nevada, and is known for its gaming and water recreation. As of th2020 census the population was 8,658. The Laughlin River Lodge (formerly Sam's Town Gold River, Gold River and River Palms) is a hotel and casino on the banks of the Colorado River in Laughlin, Nevada. It is owned and operated by Richard Craig Estey ( Nevada Restaurant Services). The property includes a casino and 1,000 hotel rooms in a 25-story tower. The resort has 653 slot machines and a bingo parlor. History The resort was created by Las Vegas real estate developer John Midby.
