Colton Sceviour
Colton Sceviour (born April 20, 1989) is a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger for SC Bern of the National League (NL). He was selected by the Dallas Stars in the fourth round, 112th overall, at the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Early life Sceviour was born on April 20, 1989, in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. His father Darin played hockey growing up, including one game in the NHL for the Chicago Blackhawks. Playing career Growing up in Alberta, Sceviour played minor ice hockey for the Tinners Little Caps, winning back to back Novice Tier I Red Deer Minor Hockey league championships in 1998 and 1999. In 2000, Sceviour played atom AA hockey for the Red Deer Titan Electric Chiefs whom won the B final at the St Alberta atom AA hockey tournament. Dallas Stars
The Dallas Stars are a professional ice hockey team based in Dallas. James Robert McGinn IV (born August 5, 1988) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward who played in the National Hockey League (NHL). Ondřej Pavelec (; born 31 August 1987) is a Czech former professional ice hockey goaltender. Drafted in the second round, 41st overall, by the Atlanta Thrashers in 2005, he stayed with the team as they became the Winnipeg Jets in 2011, and played his final season with the New York Rangers. During the 2012–13 NHL lockout, Pavelec played for Bílí Tygři Liberec of the Czech Extraliga (ELH) and Pelicans of the Finnish SM-liiga. Rich Peverley
John Richard Peverley (born July 8, 1982) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He spent four years with the St. Lawrence University hockey team before turning professional, then playing three years for several teams in both the ECHL and American Hockey League (AHL). In 2007, he signed a contract with the Nashville Predators of the NHL, playing for the team for parts of three seasons before the Atlanta Thrashers claimed him off waivers in 2009. Peverley first played internationally for Team Canada at the 2010 World Championships. He retired after the 2013–14 season because of a heart ailment. 2009–10 AHL Season
The 2009–10 AHL season was the 74th season of the American Hockey League. Twenty-nine teams played 80 regular-season games each from October 2 to April 11. This season featured the addition of one new team, the relocation of two others, and the involuntary suspension of another. League business European pre-season openers On June 11, 2009, both the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Toronto Marlies were invited to participate in a four-team preseason tournament in Edinburgh, Scotland, to celebrate Scotland's contribution to the game of ice hockey. The Lethbridge Hurricanes are a Canadian major junior ice hockey team currently members of the Eastern Conference (Central Division) of the Western Hockey League (WHL). World U-17 Hockey Challenge
The World U-17 Hockey Challenge, originally known as the Quebec Esso Cup, is an international ice hockey tournament held annually in Canada. Prior to 2011, the tournament did not operate during years in which the Canada Winter Games were held. As such, the World Under-17 Challenge was held three out of every four years. It is organized by Hockey Canada and is the first major international competition for male hockey players under the age of 17. The tournament is the first step in Hockey Canada's Program of Excellence and is used to identify players moving on to the U18 and National Junior Team.
