Colt Express
''Colt Express'' is a railway-themed family board game designed by Christophe Raimbault, Illustrated by Ian Parovel and Jordi Valbuena, published in 2014 by Ludonaute and distributed by Asmodee. The game won the 2015 Spiel des Jahres, the 2015 As d'Or - Jeu de l'Année, 4 of the 2014 Golden Geek Award, the 2015 TricTrac Bronze award, the 2015 Lys Grand Public Winner, The 2015 Gouden Ludo, and the 2015 Hungarian Board Game Award. As of November 2016, over 450,000 copies of the game have been sold according to the publisher. Gameplay In ''Colt Express'', players represent bandits robbing a train at the same time; the goal is to become the richest outlaw of the Old West. Players draw a "round" card which determines the number and order of play as well as whether to play the cards face up (visible) or face down (hidden). Ian Parovel
Ian Parovel (born 1983 in France), is a French art director, film director, game designer, screenwriter, and designer living in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. He is best known as the creator and screenwriter of the 3D animated television series The Podcats and the Legends Of Luma game collection. It was during the ceremony of the As d'Or/Game of the Year 2015 that he was noticed by the boardgame industry, being congratulated several times by the various laureates during the show. Biography It was during his childhood that his grandfather and his uncle introduced him to video editing, by training him to video tools and shooting super 8 films. Later, in 1995, discovering the Amiga demoscene that he will be particularly interested in the animation of synthesis, while being initiated to Lightwave. DMC DeLorean
The DMC DeLorean is a rear-engine two-passenger sports car manufactured and marketed by John DeLorean's DeLorean Motor Company (DMC) for the American market from 1981 until 1983—ultimately the only car brought to market by the fledgling company. The DeLorean is sometimes referred to by its internal DMC pre-production designation, DMC-12. However, the DMC-12 name was never used in sales or marketing materials for the production model. Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and noted for its gull-wing doors and brushed stainless-steel outer body panels, the sports car was also noted for a lack of power and performance incongruous with its looks and price. Though its production was short-lived, the DeLorean became widely known after it was featured as the time machine in the ''Back to the Future'' films. Internationale Spieltage SPIEL, often called the Essen Game Fair after the city where it is held, is an annual four-day boardgame trade fair which is also open to the public held in October (Thursday to the following Sunday) at the Messe Essen exhibition centre in Essen, Germany. It began in 1983. With 1 021 exhibitors from 50 nations in 2016, SPIEL is the biggest fair for board games in the world. Many new games are released at the fair each year, especially (but not exclusively) European-style board games. At SPIEL board games are offered which are hard to find in retail because a lot of international and small exhibitors present their products. Rail transport (also known as train transport) is a means of transport that transfers passengers and goods on wheeled vehicles running on rails, which are incorporated in tracks.
