Colt David
Colt Justin David (born November 26, 1985) is a former American football placekicker who played one season with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football at Louisiana State University and attended Grapevine High School in Grapevine, Texas. He was a member of the 2007 LSU Tigers national championship football team and the 98th Grey Cup winning Montreal Alouettes. Early years David was a four-year letterman for the Grapevine High School, playing both football and soccer. He converted 27 of 36 field goal attempts during his prep career, with a long of 50 yards. He also played punter, averaging 43.7 yards per punt as a senior and setting a school record with an 81-yard punt. College career David played for the LSU Tigers from 2005 to 2008. Placekicker
Placekicker, or simply kicker (PK or K), is the player in gridiron football who is responsible for the kicking duties of field goals and extra points. In many cases, the placekicker also serves as the team's kickoff specialist or punter. Specialized role The kicker initially was not a specialized role. Prior to the 1934 standardization of the prolate spheroid shape of the ball, drop kicking was the prevalent method of kicking field goals and conversions, but even after its replacement by place kicking, until the 1960s the kicker almost always doubled at another position on the roster. George Blanda, Lou Groza, Frank Gifford and Paul Hornung are prominent examples of players who were stars at other positions as well as being known for their kicking abilities. 2007 LSU Tigers Football Team
The 2007 LSU Tigers football team represented Louisiana State University during the 2007 NCAA Division I FBS football season. It won the Southeastern Conference (SEC) championship and the College football national championships in NCAA Division I FBS, national championship–their third claimed national championship and fourth recognized by the NCAA and the college football community. The Saskatchewan Roughriders are a professional Canadian football team based in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Roughriders compete in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member club of the league's West Division. The Roughriders were founded in 1910 as the Regina Rugby Club. Damon Duval (born April 3, 1980) is an American former professional placekicker and punter. Duval played college football for Auburn University, and was recognized as a consensus All-American. He played professionally for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL), and the Montreal Alouettes and Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Early years Duval was born in Morgan City, Louisiana. Beginning at age 11, he played professional soccer in the United States Indoor Soccer League USISL as a striker for the Chattanooga Express.
