''Colourful Pages'' (Swedish: ''Brokiga blad'') is a 1931 Swedish musical comedy film directed by Edvin Adolphson, Valdemar Dalquist and starring Adolphson, Lili Ziedner, Gösta Ekman and Dagmar Ebbesen. It has described as the first Swedish revue film.Wallengrenp.130 It was shot at the Råsunda Studios in Stockholm and on location around the city. The film's sets were designed by the art directors Vilhelm Bryde and Arne Åkermark. Edvin Adolphson
Gustav Edvin Adolphson (25 February 1893 – 31 October 1979) was a Swedish film actor and director who appeared in over 500 roles. He made his debut in 1912. He appeared with Ingrid Bergman in ''Only One Night'' (1939), and is noted for his roles in the film ''Änglar, finns dom?'' (1961), the television version of August Strindberg's ''Hemsöborna'' (1966), and as Markurell in ''Markurells i Wadköping'' (1968). He also directed the first Swedish sound film, '' Säg det i toner'' in 1929. He was actress Harriet Bosse's third husband (1927–1932) and is father of actress Kristina Adolphson (b. 1937) and songwriter/composer Olle Adolphson (1934–2004). Adolphson was born in Furingstad, Sweden (Östergötland County), and died in Solna, a suburb of Stockholm, Sweden. Råsunda Studios
Filmstaden was a film studio situated in Råsunda, Solna Municipality in Stockholm, Sweden. History Filmstaden was once one of the most modern film studios in Europe. It was built in 1919–1920 on the basis of designs by Swedish architect Ebbe Crone (1885-1960). It was owned and operated by SF Studios (''Svensk Filmindustri''), the main Swedish film producer at the time. Some 400 movies have been created at Filmstaden. The first movie to be filmed at Filmstaden was ''The Phantom Carriage'' (''Körkarlen''. 1921) by director Victor Sjöström. Practically all Swedish actors and film directors of the 20th century had some connection with Filmstaden. In 1969, Svensk Filmindustri left Filmstaden and the studios were used by small film producers, production of television dramas and the ''Riksteatern'' Theatre. Concordia Cornelia Johanna Selander, née ''Hård'' (Arboga, 2 June 1861 – 31 March 1935), was a Swedish actress and theatre manager. Her father was a music instrument maker. She first trained at the school of the Royal Swedish Ballet (1874–80) and later at the Royal Dramatic Training Academy (1878–83).
