Colosseum Tournament
The Colosseum Tournament (COLOSSEUM) is a kickboxing, mixed martial arts (MMA) and boxing promotion company based in Romania, which is owned by Gabriel Georgescu. It is one of the largest kickboxing promotions in the country, and takes its name from ''colosseum''. It promoted the first sanctioned professional event in Ploiești, Romania on November 26, 2016, and since its inception can be seen on Digi Sport and on FightBox in over 60 countries. On 30 June 2023, Colosseum Tournament was relaunched on FITE TV after 2017-2019. On April 15, 2021, it was announced that Colosseum Tournament and Netherlands-based Glorious Fight Events entered a partnership. The deal encompasses commitment to promote their fighters. Colosseum Tournament also has a partnership with Prometheus Fighting Promotion. A combat sport, or fighting sport, is a competitive contact sport that usually involves one-on-one combat. In many combat sports, a contestant wins by scoring more points than the opponent, submitting the opponent with a hold, disabling the opponent (''knockout'', KO), or attacking the opponent in a specific or designated technique. Florin Lambagiu
Florin Lambagiu (born 8 April 1996) is a Romanian professional kickboxer, former sambist and mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the super middleweight division of the Dynamite Fighting Show (DFS), where he is the former DFS 4 tournament winner and was named Fighter of the Year in 2019. Lambagiu also competed for Colosseum Tournament, where he is the former Colosseum Tournament World Light Welterweight Champion. As a sambist, Lambagiu primarily competed at 90 kilograms, and was the 2018 Romania National champion. He represented his country at the 2018 World Sambo Championships in Bucharest and at the 2018 European Sambo Championships in Athens. Men's Judo Alexandru Lungu (born 3 September 1974) is a Romanian professional mixed martial artist, kickboxer and judoka. Lungu has most recently competed in the Super Heavyweight division of MMA. A professional competitor since 2005, Lungu has formerly competed for the PRIDE Fighting Championships, Cage Rage, and K-1, for both MMA and professional kickboxing. Christiana "Mongol" Budica born Stancu (July 19, 1991) is a Romanian mixed martial artist, karateka, boxer and kickboxer. He currently competes in the featherweight division for the Colosseum Tournament, where he is the reigning Colosseum Tournament World Featherweight Champion.
