State Highway 83 (SH 83) is a state highway that is located along the Front Range in the U.S. State of Colorado. Spanning about from the SH 21 (Powers Boulevard) interchange in northern Colorado Springs and SH 2 (Colorado Boulevard.) in Denver. The highway follows a south–north route, paralleling Interstate 25 to the east and serving rural areas. Along with I-25, it is one of the only two routes in the Colorado State Highway System that directly connects Denver and Colorado Springs. The section of SH 83 in Colorado Springs is signed as Interquest Parkway, which begins as a four-lane road. It drops down to two lanes as it exits the Colorado Springs area and is no longer signed as Interquest Pkwy. It remains as a two-lane, rural highway as it runs north out of El Paso County and into Douglas County. State Highway 86 (SH 86) is a state highway in the U.S. State of Colorado. It runs from Interstate 25 (I-25), U.S. Route 85 (US 85) and US 87 in Castle Rock, eastward to I-70 and US 40 near Limon. It gives service through eastern Castle Rock to Franktown and then to Elizabeth then from Kiowa to I-70 and US 40 (Exit 352). Route description The route begins at I-25, US 85 and US 87 in Castle Rock, where it begins eastward. The route then exits the town and enters Franktown where it meets SH 83. It then crosses the county line into Elbert, where it meets many county roads in various towns before meeting its east end at I-70 and US 40. State Highway 115 (SH 115) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Colorado. SH 115's southern terminus is at U.S. Route 50 (US 50) interchange in northern Cañon City, and the northern terminus is at Interstate 25 (I-25), US 24 and US 87 in Colorado Springs. Route description Major construction has been done on the mountainous portion of the highway due to a high number of accidents because of lane narrowing.
