Color On Me
''Color on Me'' (stylized ''color on me'') is the debut extended play (EP) by South Korean singer and songwriter Kang Daniel. It was released on July 25, 2019 by Konnect Entertainment and distributed by Sony Music Korea. ''Color on Me'' contains five tracks with "What Are You Up To" serving as its lead single. Background On July 11 at midnight KST, Konnect Entertainment launched a new website with a 24-hour countdown, and on July 12 at midnight KST, the first teaser for Kang Daniel's solo debut which included the date July 25, 2019 was revealed. On the same day, it was revealed that Kei Lim, CEO of Devine-Channel, was the main producer of the EP. Kang Daniel (; commonly stylized as KANGDANIEL; born Kang Eui-geon []; December 10, 1996) is a South Korean singer-songwriter, actor, and businessman who rose to fame in early 2017 as the first-place winner of the Produce 101 Season 2, second season of reality competition series ''Produce 101''. He is a former member of the show's resulting boy group Wanna One and is currently active as a solo artist. Following the end of Wanna One's activities as a group, Kang took a six-month hiatus from the entertainment industry and took over management of his career. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. Oricon did not include download sales until its establishment of the Digital Albums Chart on November 19, 2016. In November 2018, Oricon began to include streaming in its album rankings, introducing a combined album chart based on album-equivalent units.
