Collin Abranches
Collin Abranches (born 12 December 1991) is an Indian professional footballer who last played as a defender for I-League side Gokulam Kerala. Career Air India In early 2011 Collin signed for local Mumbai club Air India FC who play in the national I-League. On 9 January 2011, Collin played and scored in his first ever professional match for Air India in an I-League match against HAL. He then scored his second career goal against Dempo on 18 December 2011. Salgaocar Abranches made his debut for Salgaocar F.C. on 22 September 2012 during a Federation Cup match against United Sikkim F.C. at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand; Salgaocar won the match 0–3. The JRD Tata Sports Complex Stadium is a 40,000-capacity (often limited to 24,424 for ISL games) stadium in Jamshedpur, India. It is currently used mostly for association football matches and athletics competitions. It has been the home stadium of Jamshedpur FC since the 2017–18 season. The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Under its current rules, the competition is played primarily between clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots in the top-tier AFC Champions League, based on the AFC Club Competitions Ranking. Al-Kuwait SC and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya are the most successful clubs in the competition's history, having won three titles each. Indian Super League
The Indian Super League (ISL) is an Indian professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Indian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), and their commercial partners Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), it is officially known as Hero Indian Super League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp. The league currently comprises 11 clubs. Each season of the tournament generally runs from October to March. Ozone Football Club Bengaluru, or simply known as Ozone FC, was an Indian professional football club based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. I-League 2, previously known as I-League 2nd Division and officially known as or Hero I-League 2 (for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp), is an Indian men's professional football league. It is the 3rd tier of Indian football, behind Indian Super League and I-League. It operates as a system of promotion with I-League (final qualifying phase of state leagues teams). In 2020, due to COVID-19 pandemic in India, the league format was changed into I-League Qualifiers. To avoid confusion with I-League being the second tier, the league was renamed to I-League 2 by AIFF in 2022. Mumbai Football Club was an Indian professional football club based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, that competed in the I-League, then top flight of Indian football league system, alongside the MDFA Elite League.
