Collector (2011 Film)
''Collector'' is a 2011 Indian Malayalam-language political action thriller film directed by Anil C. Menon with Suresh Gopi in the lead. The film has Suresh Gopi playing the title role. The film is a socio-political thriller that takes a look at the contemporary social scene in the state. The film was dubbed in Telugu in the same name. Plot Avinash Varma (Suresh Gopi) is the District Collector of Ernakulam. He takes on several anti-social elements who rule the underworld of Kochi . Suresh Gopi
Suresh Gopi (born 26 June 1958) is an Indian actor, politician, playback singer and television presenter. He works predominantly in Malayalam cinema and has also appeared in some Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Bollywood films. Suresh made his acting debut as a child in the 1965 film ''Odayil Ninnu''. He made his debut as an adult in 1986 and since then, he has acted in more than 250 films. Kalasala Babu (1950 14 May 2018) was an Indian actor who performed on stage, and in television serials and films. On stage Babu had been acting in radio plays while at college. Following his graduation in 1973, Babu acted in ''Paanchajanyam'', yielding a good performance. Babu acted at Kalidasa Kala Kendram for two years, and was offered roles by the late O. Madhavan and K.
