Coliseum Burgos
The Coliseum Burgos, formerly named as Plaza de Toros de Burgos, is an indoor arena mainly used as bullring located in Burgos, Spain. History Plaza de Toros de Burgos (1967–2015) Built between 1966 and 1967, the bullring was inaugurated on 28 June 1967 with a corrida by Jaime Ostos, El Cordobés and Tinín. In 1975, the bullring hosted the first pop music festival in Spain, known as ''La Cochambre'', including performances of several Spanish bands. Its façade had three big doors and a bullring was able for a capacity for 12,277 spectators. Coliseum Burgos (2015–present) In 2013, mayor Javier Lacalle announced the intention of building a new indoor arena due to the risk of collapse of the bullring, but due to its high costs, the solution was to integrally renovate the bullring and to add a roof. Burgos () is a city in Spain located in the autonomous community of Castile and León. It is the capital and most populated municipality of the province of Burgos. 2019–20 Basketball Champions League
The 2019–20 Basketball Champions League is the fourth season of the Basketball Champions League (BCL), a European-wide professional basketball competition for clubs, that was launched by FIBA. The competition began in September 2019, with the qualifying rounds, and was supposed to conclude in May 2020. It featured 16 domestic champion teams. On 12 March 2020, the competition was suspended because of the COVID-19 pandemic. San Pablo Burgos won its first Champions League title after defeating AEK. 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualification (Europe)
The 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification for the FIBA Europe region, began in August 2017 and concluded in February 2019. Contrary to previous years, no teams were automatically placed into the World Cup, so all FIBA Europe nations had to participate in qualification. Format FIBA Europe was allocated 12 berths at the World Cup. In total, 37 FIBA Europe teams took part in the qualification tournament.
