Its name comes some historians of an indigenous chief named ''Bitagüí''. Two of its most representative Diego Echavarría Misas and Eladio Vélez. There were two chapels in Itagüí in colonial times. One in the place of the Tablaza that had been owned by Bruno Saldarriaga, built thanks to the permission that the Bishop of Popayán Francisco José de Figueredo granted December 19, 1743. Francisco Riaza and Bruno Saldarriaga who Lot more to the small temple, gave an extension of thirty blocks for the drawing of a population. Colosseum

Futsal
Futsal is a football-based game played on a hardcourt, hard court smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and Indoor soccer, indoor football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted. Unlike some other forms of indoor soccer, it is played on a hard court surface marked by lines; walls or boards are not used. It is played with a smaller, harder, lower-bounce ball than football. Águilas () is a municipality and seaport of southeastern Spain, in the province of Murcia. It is situated at the southern end of Murcia's Mediterranean coastline, otherwise known as the Costa Cálida, near the border with the Province of Almería. Águilas Doradas (futsal)
Águilas Doradas is a Colombian futsal team based in Rionegro, Colombia that plays in the Liga Argos. The club was founded in January 2011 in Itagüí by the football team Itagüí F.C. and was known as the "Golden Eagles of Itagüí". In 2013, the club was renamed as Talento Dorado, however since 2014 the club have its current name. Águilas Doradas plays in the Coliseo del Cielo. The team had very good results in its first season reaching quarter-finals. In 2012 they became champions of the league.
