Colin Taylor (footballer, Born 1940)
Colin Taylor (24 August 1940 — June 2005) was an English professional footballer who played as a left winger for Walsall F.C. in three different spells, with whom he made at least 459 league appearances by the end of the 1972–73 season, scoring at least 169 goals. He also made 33 appearances in league games for Newcastle (7 goals) in season 1963–64 and 34 appearances in league games for Crystal Palace (8 goals), in season 1968–69, in which he helped Palace achieve promotion to the top flight for the first time. His haul of 32 goals for Walsall in season 1959–60 remains a record from the left wing. Taylor was a flame-haired, barrel-chested left-winger who was a member of Walsall's first team during their golden days of the 1950s and 1960s. Taylor was given the nickname "Cannonball Colin" by Walsall supporters because of his accurate left foot and strong shooting abilities. Colin David Taylor (born 25 December 1971) is an English former footballer who played as a striker in the Football League for Wolverhampton Wanderers. Career Taylor joined Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1987 as a YTS apprentice, before signing professional forms in March 1990. He made his senior debut on 25 September 1990 as a substitute in a goalless League Cup tie at Hull. His only league goals for Wolves came on 22 December 1990 when he scored twice against Millwall in a Second Division fixture. Although the striker had a prolific record at youth and reserve team level, first team opportunities at Molineux were at the time limited due to the goalscoring duo of Steve Bull and Andy Mutch. Taylor instead had several loan spells at lower league teams to gain playing time, representing Wigan Athletic in the 1991–92 season (scoring twice), and both Preston and Doncaster in 1992–93. '' Neighbours'' is an Australian television soap opera created by Reg Watson. It was first broadcast on 18 March 1985. The following is a list of characters that first appeared in the serial in 1994, by order of first appearance. Until 9 May, characters were introduced by the soap's executive producer, Alan Coleman. Thereafter, they were introduced by his successor, Stanley Walsh. The 10th season of ''Neighbours'' began airing from 20 January 1994. Frank Bren began appearing as Colin Taylor in same month. Bren also played Colin's twin brother Alf. March saw the arrivals of Len Mangel, Sally Pritchard and Stonefish Rebecchi.
