Colin Stephens
Colin J. Stephens (born 29 November 1969) is a Welsh former rugby union player who played as a fly-half for Llanelli RFC and Leeds RUFC. Born in Morriston, Swansea, he was educated at Ysgol y Strade and played representative rugby for Wales Schools. He made his senior debut for Llanelli in January 1988, playing six times before the end of the 1987–88 season (four at fly-half, one at centre and one at full-back). He began the 1988–89 season sharing the number 10 shirt with Wales international Jonathan Davies, but following Davies' departure to rugby league at the start of 1989, Stephens took over on a permanent basis. With Stephens at fly-half, Llanelli won the WRU Challenge Cup three years in a row from 1991 to 1993, the last of which was won as part of a league and cup double. Morriston
Morriston (; cy, Treforys ) is a Community (Wales), community in the City and County of Swansea, Wales and falls within the Morriston (electoral ward), Morriston ward. It is the largest community in Swansea county. Jonathan Davies, OBE (born 24 October 1962) is a Welsh former rugby footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s, and who represented Wales in both rugby union and rugby league. A goal-kicking backline player, he played his club rugby in Wales, England and Australia. Davies has since become a television commentator for both codes and media personality, in both the Welsh and English languages. Biography Jonathan Davies was born in Trimsaran, Carmarthenshire on 24 October 1962, the son of Diana and Len Davies, who worked in Trostre, Llanelli. Llanelli ("St Elli's Parish"; ) is a market town and the largest community in Carmarthenshire and the preserved county of Dyfed, Wales. Ieuan Cennydd Evans (born 21 March 1964) is a former rugby union player who played on the wing for Wales and the British and Irish Lions. He is the fourth highest try scorer for Wales behind Shane Williams, George North and Gareth Thomas and joint 24th in the world on the all-time test try scoring list. Evans held the record for the most Wales caps as captain with 28, a record overtaken by Ryan Jones in 2012. As part of their 1992 tour of Europe, the Australia national rugby union team played 13 matches in Ireland and Wales. The ninth match was played against Welsh club side Llanelli RFC on 14 November 1992 at Stradey Park, Llanelli. The hosts won the match 13–9 thanks to a first-half try from wing Ieuan Evans, converted by Colin Stephens, who added two drop goals in the second half.
