Colin Holderman
Colin Scott Holderman (born October 8, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2022 with the New York Mets. Amateur career Holderman graduated from Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School in Bradley, Illinois, in 2014. He enrolled at Southern Illinois University to play college baseball for the Southern Illinois Salukis baseball, Southern Illinois Salukis. After one year, he transferred to Heartland Community College. He was named the National Junior College Athletic Association's List of NJCAA Division II schools, Division II Baseball Player of the Year. Holderman committed to transfer to Mississippi State University after his year at Heartland. The New York Mets are an American professional baseball team based in the New York City borough of Queens. Eastern League (1938–present)
The Eastern League (EL) is a Minor League Baseball (MiLB) sports league that has operated under that name since 1938, with the exception of the 2021 season, during which the league operated under the moniker Double-A Northeast. The league has played at the Double-A level since 1963, and consists primarily of teams located in the Northeastern United States. The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are an American Minor League Baseball team based in Binghamton, New York. Ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction, colloquially known as Tommy John surgery (TJS), is a surgical graft procedure where the ulnar collateral ligament in the medial elbow is replaced with either a tendon from elsewhere in the patient's body, or with one from a deceased donor. The South Atlantic League, often informally called the Sally League, is a Minor League Baseball league with teams predominantly in states along the Atlantic coast of the United States from New York to Georgia. The Appalachian League is a collegiate summer baseball league that operates in the Appalachian regions of Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina. Designed for rising freshmen and sophomores using wood bats, its season runs from June to August. The league is part of Major League Baseball and USA Baseball's Prospect Development Pipeline.
