Colin Garrett
Colin Kaywood Garrett (born July 6, 2000) is an American professional racing driver who currently competes in the TC America Series in TCX for Rooster Hall Racing in a BMW M2 CS Cup car. He has also competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (now the ARCA Menards Series East) and the CARS Tour in the past. NASCAR Garrett began racing in 2015 at the age of 14, competing in the Pure Stock division at South Boston Speedway. He was awarded the UNOH Youth Achievement Award in 2016 and 2017 at SoBo and in 2017 won the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Limited Late Model division championship at SoBo. In 2017, he also competed in select Late Model Stock Car events at numerous tracks, earning two pole awards and a win at Dominion Raceway. New Jersey Motorsports Park is a road course "Motorsports Entertainment Complex" located in Millville, Cumberland County, New Jersey, United States. It has hosted races since opening in 2008 and currently hosts a schedule including MotoAmerica Pro Road Racing, 24 Hours of LeMons, American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association, SCCA events, SCCA Pro Racing's F2000 Championship Series. The Kansas Lottery 200 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race held at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. The race, which is held on the same weekend as the NASCAR Cup Series' playoff race at the track, was initially added to the series' schedule in 2020 after the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in the cancellation of the series' race at Eldora Speedway in Ohio. ''Days of Thunder'' is a 1990 American sports action drama film released by Paramount Pictures, produced by Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Tony Scott. Dominion Raceway is a motorsport complex currently operating in Thornburg, Virginia. The facility includes 4/10-mile oval track, a 2-mile road course, and a 1/8-mile drag strip. The NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series (formerly the Whelen All-American Series, Winston Racing Series and the Dodge Weekly Series) is a points championship for NASCAR sanctioned local short track motor racing around the United States and Canada. South Boston Speedway
South Boston Speedway, or "SoBo", is a short track located just outside South Boston, Virginia. SoBo is located approximately east of another area familiar to most NASCAR fans, Martinsville. It is owned by Mattco, Inc., the Mattioli family trust that owns Pocono Raceway, with general manager Chase Brashears operating the track, replacing Cathy Rice who retired in 2021 after serving in that role for 21 years. NASCAR's three national series have raced at the track, though the Cup Series has not done so since 1971, while the Busch Series last raced here in 2000. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck based stock cars.
