Gheorghe Vitanidis (1 October 1929 – 25 November 1994) was a Romanian film director. He directed 19 films between 1958 and 1987. Marga Barbu
Margareta-Yvonne Barbu also known as Marga Barbu born ''Margareta-Yvonne Butuc'' (24 February 1929 – 31 March 2009) was a Romanian actress. She was born in 1929 in Ocna Șugatag, Maramureș County, and moved to Bucharest at age 14. In 1950 she graduated from the I.L. Caragiale Institute of Theatre and Film Arts. She was married to actor Constantin Codrescu, and then to writer Eugen Barbu. She died at the Floreasca Hospital in Bucharest in 2009 and was buried with military honors at Bellu Cemetery, next to her second husband, on Writer's Alley, close to Mihai Eminescu's resting place. Florin Piersic
Florin Piersic (; born 27 January 1936) is a well-known Romanian actor and TV personality. He is particularly famous for his leading roles in ''The White Moor'' and the ''Margelatu'' series films. He has a reputation, often parodied in popular culture, as a raconteur. In 2006 and 2011 the actor was chosen by Disney Pixar to provide the Romanian voice of Mack in the animated movie ''Cars''. Biography Piersic's parents were from Bucovina, his mother was born in Valea Seacă, and his father, Ștefan Piersic, a veterinary physician, was originally from Corlata. Piersic spent his childhood years in Corlata, Pojorâta and Cajvana, later, in Cernăuţi, and then his family moved to Cluj, where Florin graduated from the High School for Boys No. 3. Ion Besoiu
Ion Besoiu (; 11 March 1931 – 18 January 2017) was a Romanian actor. Biography He was born in Sibiu in 1931 and graduated the city's Theater and Music Academy. After making his debut in 1957, he played for 16 years at the Radu Stanca National Theatre in Sibiu. He then moved to Bucharest, where he played at the Bulandra Theatre. He later served for 12 years as director of this well-known theatre. Besoiu appeared in some of the most important Romanian films from the Communist period: "Furtuna", "Neamul Șoimăreștilor", "Haiducii", "Răscoala", "Mihai Viteazul", "Ciprian Porumbescu", "Păcală", "Blestemul pământului, blestemul iubirii", "Ultima noapte de dragoste", "Lumini și umbre", "Ce neagră e mama", and "Toate pânzele sus!". He died at Fundeni Hospital in Bucharest in 2017; he is buried at the city's Bellu Cemetery. Constantin Codrescu
Constantin Codrescu (; 5 September 1931 – 13 November 2022) was a Romanian actor. He appeared in more than thirty films since 1953. Born in Huși, he was raised in northern Bukovina, but had to move to Bucharest after the region was annexed by the Soviet Union in 1940. In the early 1950s he was married to actress Valeria Gagialov, but some strange circumstances involving his mother (who tried to poison his wife) led to divorce. Afterwards he was married for five years to actress Margareta-Yvonne Butuc (later known as Marga Barbu); after divorcing her in 1959, he married Adina Georgescu in 1963, but this marriage also did not last long.
