The Brazilian pygmy gecko (''Chatogekko amazonicus'') is a species of South American lizard in the family Sphaerodactylidae. The species is monotypic in the genus ''Chatogekko''. Paulo Emilio Vanzolini (; April 25, 1924 – April 28, 2013) was a Brazilian scientist and music composer.
