Colegio San Andrés
Colegio San Andrés is a private school located in Lima, Peru. History Dr. Mackay was given permission to found the Anglo-Peruvian School on July 13, 1917. In 1919 the primary school expanded into secondary education as well, changing its name to Colegio Anglo-Peruano. The school then consisted of 7 teachers and 271 pupils. In 1924, while the school was still located at its premises on the Plaza Francia, it merged with the American Institute (Peru), American Institute and became a boysonly institution. Through the initiative of Dr. W. Stanley Rycroft and with the collaboration of Dr. Alberto Arca Parró, a distinguished teacher at the school, the ''Leader'' magazine was founded in 1926. He worked in Peru for 40 years and was known variously as 'The General' or 'The King'. Eduardo Tokeshi Namizato (born August 12, 1960, in Lima, Peru) is a contemporary Peruvian artist. Eduardo Tokeshi was born on August 12, 1960, in Lima. His parents are Sara Namizato and Victor Tokeshi; he has one brother Jorge (b. 1957) and one sister Marisa (b. 1958). Nicolás Eduardo Lindley López (November 16, 1908 – May 3, 1995) was a Peruvian military commander who headed the military government in Peru for several months in 1963 and served as the 48th President of Peru (2nd President of the Military Junta).
