Colas Rail is a railway infrastructure and rail freight company primarily active in the United Kingdom. It is a subsidiary of the French industrial group Bouygues. Colas Rail was originally created as ''Seco Rail'', named after its then-parent company SECO (''Société d'Études et de Construction d'Outillage''). In the twentieth century, its main activities were railway construction and maintenance. Seco Rail participated in various major projects, such as in the construction of phase one of High Speed 1. During 2006, it became a rail freight operator in the British market, initially transporting Construction aggregate, aggregates using leased rolling stock. Seco Rail acquired its first locomotives and regular freight customer, Kronospan, during the following year. Oscar Luis Colas Leon (born September 17, 1998) is a Cuban professional baseball outfielder in the Chicago White Sox organization. He played for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks of Nippon Professional Baseball from 2017 to 2019. Paul Colas
Paul René Colas (6 May 1880 – 9 September 1956) was a French sport shooter who competed at the 1908, 1912, 1920, and 1924 Summer Olympics. Between 1908 and 1924 Colas won four Olympic medals: a bronze in 1908, two gold in 1912, and one silver in 1924. Only in 1920 did he fail to win a medal. With his two individual gold medals at the 1912 Games he became the second shooter (a day behind Alfred Lane of the United States) and the first rifle shooter to win two individual Olympic gold medals. Claudius Colas (Saint-Huruge, France, 29 November 1884 - Battle of the Marne, 11 September 1914). , also known as Profesoro V. Esperema, was a French Esperantist. In 1910, he created the constructed language Adjuvilo, which was a complete language that was never meant to be spoken but instead an effort to help create dissent in the then-growing Ido movement.
