Coed Cymerau National Nature Reserve is a wooded area of approximately 26 hectares on the north side of the Vale of Ffestiniog The Vale of Ffestiniog is a valley in the Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd, North Wales. It stretches from Ffestiniog in the east and runs in a westerly direction towards Tremadog Bay, terminating near Porthmadog. The Afon Dwyryd runs throug ... through which the River Goedol runs. There is one path that runs through the forest but the rest of the area is primarily native broadleaved woodland and thick undergrowth, adjacent to the nature reserve is Coed Cymerau Isaf which is owned by the Woodland Trust. Natural Resources Wales ( cy, Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru) is a Welsh Government sponsored body, which became operational from 1 April 2013, when it took over the management of the natural resources of Wales. It was formed from a merger of the Countryside Council for Wales, Environment Agency Wales, and the Forestry Commission Wales, and also assumed some other roles formerly performed by the Welsh Government. The Vale of Ffestiniog is a valley in the Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd, North Wales. National Nature Reserves In Wales
National nature reserves in Wales are selected and designated by Natural Resources Wales (NRW) (formerly the Countryside Council for Wales).
