Cody Reichard
Cody Reichard (born February 18, 1987) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently an unrestricted free agent who most recently played for the Evansville Icemen of the ECHL. Playing career He played collegiate hockey with the Miami RedHawks in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association. During the 2012–13 season, Reichard appeared in 7 games for the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League, on loan from the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL. On August 21, 2013, Reichard's rights were traded by the Florida Everblades, to the Fort Wayne Komets. On October 10, 2014, Reichard was traded from the Orlando Solar Bears to the Indy Fuel to begin the 2014–15 season. On December 20, 2014, Reichard signed a professional try out with the Grand Rapids Griffins. Houston Aeros (1994–2013)
The Houston Aeros were a professional ice hockey team in the International Hockey League (IHL) and the American Hockey League (AHL). The team played in Houston, Texas, at The Summit (renamed Compaq Center in 1998) from 1994 until 2003 and the Toyota Center from 2003 to 2013. In the IHL, the team operated as an independent minor league team from 1994 to 2001, though the team occasionally accepted players on loan from various National Hockey League (NHL) clubs for development. Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL)
The Orlando Solar Bears are a professional ice hockey team that plays their home games at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. They play in the South Division of the ECHL's Eastern Conference and are affiliated with the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League and Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League. Save percentage (often known by such symbols as SV%, SVS%, SVP, PCT) is a statistic in various goal-scoring sports that track saves as a statistic. In ice hockey and lacrosse, it is a statistic that represents the percentage of shots on goal a goaltender stops. It is calculated by dividing the number of saves by the total number of shots on goal. Although the statistic is called a "percentage", it is often given as a decimal, in the same way as a batting average in baseball. Thus, .933 means a goaltender saved 93.3 percent of all shots they faced. In international ice hockey, a save percentage is expressed as a true percentage, such as 90%. Goals Against Average
Goals against average (GAA) also known as "average goals against" or "AGA" is a statistic used in field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and water polo that is the mean of goals allowed per game by a goaltender or goalkeeper (depending on sport). GAA is analogous to a baseball pitcher's earned run average (ERA). In Japanese, the same translation (防御率) is used for both GAA and ERA, because of this. For ice hockey, the goals against average statistic is the number of goals a goaltender allows per 60 minutes of playing time. It is calculated by taking the number of goals against, multiply that by 60 (minutes) and then dividing by the number of minutes played. Shane Owen
Shane Owen (born June 4, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who currently plays for Fife Flyers in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). Playing career Owen played major junior hockey in both the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). The Grand Rapids Griffins are a professional ice hockey, hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL) based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and play home games at Van Andel Arena.
