Cody Clark (baseball)
Douglas Cody Clark (born September 14, 1981) is an American professional baseball catcher. He played for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball during the 2013 season. He is currently an advanced scout for the Kansas City Royals. Playing career Clark attended Fayetteville High School in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Toronto Blue Jays selected Clark in the 48th round of the 2000 Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft, but Clark did not sign. He enrolled at the University of Arkansas and played college baseball for the Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team in 2002 before transferring Wichita State University to play for the Wichita State Shockers baseball team. Disabled List
In Major League Baseball (MLB), the injured list (IL) is a method for teams to remove their injured players from the roster in order to summon healthy players. Before the 2019 season, it was known as the disabled list (DL). General guidelines Players are placed on the 10-day/15-day injured list or the 60-day injured list, usually depending on the severity and/or recovery time of the injury. By rule, position players must spend a minimum of 10 days on the injured list while pitchers must spend a minimum of 15 days on the IL. The 15-day period was the standard for all players prior to 2017 when the period was shortened to 10 days. The minimum period was restored to 15 days for pitchers for the 2020 season, though the full implementation of the rule was pushed back to May 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Max Stassi
Max Robert Stassi (born March 15, 1991) is an American professional baseball catcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Oakland Athletics drafted him in the fourth round of the 2009 MLB draft. In 2013, Stassi made his MLB debut with the Houston Astros. The Astros traded Stassi to the Angels in 2019. Amateur career and draft Stassi attended Yuba City High School in Yuba City, California. He played for his school's baseball team, and was twice named ''The Sacramento Bee''s player of the year. The Wichita State Shockers baseball team represents Wichita State University in the sport of baseball.
