Techno Music
Techno is a genre of electronic dance music (EDM) which is generally produced for use in a continuous DJ set, with tempo often varying between 120 and 150 beats per minute (bpm). Bang Gang
Bang Gang is a downtempo band from Iceland founded by songwriter and producer Barði Jóhannsson (see also Lady & Bird). The band was formed in 1996, in Barði’s hometown of Reykjavík. Bang Gang were initially a surf band but it moved into melodic pop. While Barði has worked with a number of vocalists and musicians, he remains the only constant member. Lovísa Elísabet Sigrúnardóttir (born 10 September 1982), better known by her stage name, Lay Low, is an Icelandic musician and singer. Biography Lovísa was born to a Sri Lankan father and an Icelandic mother. She moved to Iceland at a young age where she has lived since. As a child she began taking piano lessons but started playing electric bass and guitar in her teens, and has since then played with numerous local bands. She joined the band Benny Crespo's Gang playing Keyboard instrument, keyboards/synthesizers and guitar. It was then when she first started to use her voice. Benny Crespo's Gang is an Icelandic alternative rock band. They released their eponymous debut album in 2007. The group formed in 2003. Biography The members of the group are from a village in southern Iceland, Selfoss. The band performed for four years before releasing their first album. Their first album was released in 2007 and was well received by the Icelandic music scene. The album was nominated for the Icelandic Music Awards in 2008. Along with good reviews in Iceland, they have been getting recognition in the foreign media, such as ''NME'' and '' Clash''.
