Coca Carola
Coca Carola was a Sweden, Swedish punk rock, Punk band formed in Åkersberga in 1986. Signed to the record label Beat Butchers, they were well known to the Swedish punk scene together with bands such as Asta Kask and Köttgrottorna. After more than 17 years together and seven albums, the band called it quits in 2004. The band has occasionally reunited since then, e.g. for the ''Peace & Love'' music festival in Borlänge, Sweden, in 2012.. In 2023, after a long hiatus, the band played in their Hometown of Åkersberga. They have planned to tour during 2023. Among other themes, the band made songs supporting sports club Djurgårdens IF. Åkersberga
Åkersberga is a locality and the seat of Österåker Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden with 28,033 inhabitants in 2010. History In 1901 a railway station named ''Berga'' was opened on this rural spot some 30 km from Stockholm. Some shops and a post office followed. The name Berga was changed to ''Åkers Berga'' to avoid confusion with other places in Sweden named Berga, and the present name evolved from this. After World War II the village grew and blocks of flats were built. Åkersberga gradually evolved into a suburb with many of its inhabitants commuting to work-places in Stockholm, and has become more urban in character. Asta Kask
Asta Kask is a Swedish punk band from Töreboda, Sweden. It was founded as "X-tas" in 1978, but changed to ''Asta Kask'' in 1980. In 1984 the band started working with Rosa Honung Records. After the 1986 release of the "Aldrig en LP" the band split up. In 1989 the band was reunited and played a few gigs, but went dormant until 1992 when they played at Rosa Honung's tenth anniversary. Quiet until 2003, they started touring again as "revenge" for all the unfairness they had been put through. The drummer, Bjurre, quit the band in late 2004 and was replaced by Dadde (of Wolfbrigade). During 2005 a growing conflict with Rosa Honung reached a point where the band instead signed a deal with Burning Heart Records. In April 2006, Asta Kask recorded their first album in 20 years. Köttgrottorna is a band formed in 1983 in the city of Järfälla, Sweden by Hans-Peter "Happy" Törnblom and Stefan "Mongo" Enger, who played together in the Swedish punk band the Incest Brothers, along with guitarist Thomas "Valen" Wahlström. Djurgårdens Idrottsförening, commonly known simply as Djurgårdens IF, Djurgården (), and (especially locally) Djurgår'n (), Dif or DIF – is a Swedish sports association with several sections, located in Stockholm. Name The club is named after the City Park and borough Djurgården, which originally was a royal hunting park. A direct translation of ''Djurgården'' would be “the animal garden” or "the animal yard". History and profile The newspaper was founded by Lars Johan Hierta in December 1830 under the name of ''Aftonbladet i Stockholm'' during the modernization of Sweden.
