Hardwell
Robbert van de Corput (; born January 7, 1988), known professionally as Hardwell, is a Dutch DJ and music producer from Breda. He was voted the world's number one DJ by ''DJ Mag'' in 2013 and again in 2014. In 2022, he was ranked at number 43 in the top 100 DJs 2020 poll by ''DJ Mag''. He is best known for his sets at music festivals, including Ultra Music Festival, Sunburn and Tomorrowland. He first gained recognition in 2009 for his bootleg of "Show Me Love vs. Be". A disc jockey, more commonly abbreviated as DJ, is a person who plays recorded music for an audience. Big room house or simply big room is a fusion subgenre of house music (notably progressive house and electro house) that gained popularity in the early 2010s. Characterized by its simple instrumentation yet complex structure, big room house soon evolutionized the EDM scene into multiple subgenres that we know today. Energy (formerly known as Trance Energy) was a Dutch trance event featuring trance music DJs from around the world. It was organized by ID&T and was held since 1999 in various venues in the Netherlands. History The event was founded in 1999. Traditionally, there was a "small" edition and a big edition each year. In 2002, the small edition failed to sell out its 20,000-person ticket capacity (only 15,000 tickets were sold) and thereafter, Trance Energy was only held once annually, at the Jaarbeurs convention center in Utrecht, where it has been sold out each year up to 2009. "Spaceman" is a single by Dutch DJ and record producer Hardwell. It was released for digital download on 23 January 2012. A second version called "Call Me a Spaceman" featuring vocals by Dutch singer Mitch Crown and was released on 18 May 2012. Another vocal version was created in collaboration with Bright Lights. Despite Hardwell claiming that the latter was his favorite, his management decided to rather release "Call Me a Spaceman". Titled as "Mr. Spaceman" Bright Lights offered the track as a free download in late 2015.
