Cléopatre Darleux
Cléopatre Darleux (; born 1 July 1989) is a French handball goalkeeper for Brest Bretagne Handball and the French national team. She won the gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics, the first Olympic title in the history of France's national team. She also competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics, where France finished in fifth place. Darleux also became World Champion in 2017 and won three silver medals, at the 2009, 2011 and 2021 World Women's Handball Championships. Runner-up at the 2020 European Championship, she was awarded Best Goalkeeper at the 2022 edition. Danish Women's Handball Cup
The Danish Women's Handball Cup ( da, DHF's Landspokalturnering), known as the Santander Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the main domestic cup tournament for Danish women's handball clubs, which is partially organised and supervised by the Danish Handball Federation. The competition has been played annually since 1964. Tournament structure The initial 6 rounds are managed by the three regional federations with the DHF taking over the tournament at the round of 16. It ultimately results in a final four event scheduled between Christmas and New Year. The winner of the tournament qualify for the annual Super Cup held during the summer where they meet the season's league winner. If the same team wins both the league and the cup, the losing cup finalist will participate as the second team in the Super Cup. This team currently competes in the French Women's Handball First League from 2016 and the 2021–22 Women's EHF Champions League. 2020–21 Women's EHF Champions League
The 2020–21 Women's EHF Champions League was the 28th edition of Europe's premier club handball tournament, running from 12 September 2020 to 30 May 2021. There was no defending champion, after the season before was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Vipers Kristiansand defeated Brest Bretagne Handball to win their first title. Because of this pandemic, each local health department allowed a different number of spectators. Format The competition began with a group stage featuring 16 teams divided in two groups. Matches were played in a double round-robin system with home-and-away fixtures. In Groups A and B, originally the top two teams would have qualified for the quarterfinals, with teams ranked third to sixth entering the playoffs. After a decision by the EHF, all teams advanced. It is the most prestigious tournament for clubs, with the champions of Europe's top national leagues participating. 2022 European Women's Handball Championship
The 2022 European Women's Handball Championship was held in Slovenia, North Macedonia and Montenegro from 4 to 20 November 2022. It showed an impressive action by the norwegian right-back Nora Mørk, who was the top scorer of the EHF EURO 2022, and Henny Reistad, the MVP. The tournament has been advanced a month in order not to coincide with the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
