Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. Volley Lube
Associazione Sportiva Volley Lube is a professional volleyball team based in Treia, Italy. Since 1995 the club has been playing in the Serie A of the Italian Volleyball League. It won the Italian Championship seven times, the Italian Cup five times, and the Italian SuperCup three-times. Men's South American Volleyball Club Championship
The South American Men's Volleyball Club Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organized by the ''Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol'' (CSV), the sport's governing body in South America. The competition was first contested in 2009 in Florianópolis, Brazil and tournaments have been held every year since then. In addition to crowning the South American champions, the tournament also serves as a qualifying tournament for the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship. Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei is a Brazilian professional volleyball team based in Contagem, Minas Gerais, Brazil. They compete in the Brazilian Superliga and were the champions in the 2011–12, 2013–14 and 2014–15 seasons. In 2012, 2014 and 2016 won the South American Championship. History Founded in 2006 in Betim, part of the Belo Horizonte metropolitan area in the state of Minas Gerais, Sada merged with Cruzeiro in 2009 and is now based in neighbouring Contagem. Trentino Volley is a professional Italian volleyball team based in Trento, in northern Italy. It plays in the Italian Volleyball League without interruption since 2000. It has won four times the Italian Volleyball League, the Italian Cup, the Italian Super Cup, three consecutive times the CEV Champions League and a record four consecutive times the FIVB Men's Club World Volleyball Championship. FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organised by the '' Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The competition was first contested in 1989 in Italy. It was not held between 1993 and 2008, but since 2009, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar and Brazil except in 2017 and 2018 where both hosted by Poland. The current format of the tournament involves eight teams competing for the title at venues within the host nation over a period of about one week; the winners of that year's AVC Club Volleyball Championship (Asia), African Clubs Championship (Africa), Men's South American Volleyball Club Championship (South America) and CEV Champions League (Europe), along with the host city's team and a nominated team from North America. The Pallavolo Parma was one of the oldest and most successful professional man's volleyball clubs in Italy. Its colours were white and azure. Founded in Parma in the 1940s, after a sequence of incorporations with other teams, it is currently disappeared from Italian professional volleyball panorama.
