Club Cheval
Club Cheval is a French electronic group originating from Lille, consisting of Myd, Sam Tiba, Panteros666 and Canblaster (Quentin Lepoutre, Samuel Tiba, Victor Thieffry-Watel, and Cédric Steffens respectively). Biography Club Cheval is a Paris-based collective, or band, consisting of four musicians : Canblaster, Myd, Sam Tiba, and Panteros666, blending various genres such as R&B or house music. According to Dazed, they chose the name "cheval" ("horse" in French) because "it resonated as something powerful and noble heywanted to put forth." They met in Lille as students, and started their career with two EPs released in 2010 on Bromance Records, a label founded by Brodinski, as well as remixes for Vitalic, Nero, Boys Noize, and The Dø. Aside from their solo productions, the first single produced by all four Club Cheval members, "Now U Realize", was released in June 2012. Myd (musician)
Quentin Lepoutre (born 30 March 1987), known professionally as Myd , is a French musician, record producer, singer, sound engineer and DJ. He is one of the four members of the electronic band Club Cheval. After releasing tracks on labels Marble and Bromance, he continued his solo career and signed to Ed Banger Records in 2017. He has produced tracks for artists like Brodinski and French rappers such as SCH, Lacrim, Georgio and Alonzo. Career Myd studied sound engineering from 2008 to 2011 in Paris at the prestigious cinema school La Fémis when he met Panteros666, Sam Tiba and Canblaster. They decided to make music together and they became Club Cheval. Alongside the band, in 2011, Myd released his first solo EP on Marble Records (Para One, Surkin and Bobmo label) and started to tour as a DJ internationally. Alexander Ridha (born 22 August 1982), better known by his stage name Boys Noize, is a Berlin-based German-Iraqi electronic music record producer, songwriter, and DJ. It is similar to the name of Ridha's label, Boysnoize Records, which he established in 2005. Ridha has remixed the work of a number of other artists, including Snoop Dogg and Depeche Mode. The Ballroom Scene (also known as the Ballroom community, Ballroom culture, or just Ballroom) is an African-American and Latino underground LGBTQ+ subculture that originated in New York City. Michael Cox, known by the stage name MikeQ, is an American DJ, musician, music producer, and prominent figure in the ballroom community. He is the founder of the record label Qween Beat. Oliver was an electronic music production and DJ duo consisting of Vaughn Oliver and Oliver Goldstein, based in Los Angeles. Career Vaughn (also known as U-Tern) and Goldstein (also known as Oligee), were hip hop and scratch DJs in the 1990s.
