Club Halcones de Zapopan, formerly ''Club Deportivo Zap'', is a Mexican professional football team based in Zapotlanejo, Jalisco, Mexico which originally played in the Liga de Balompié Mexicano, and in July 2021 was affiliated into Liga Premier de México – Serie A. History In May 2020 the team began its registration to be part of the inaugural season of the Liga de Balompié Mexicano. On June 12 their incorporation into the new league was made official, in addition to announcing the Tres de Marzo Stadium as their stadium. On June 20, Jorge Hernández González was announced as the first team's manager. On July 18, Jesús Roberto Chávez was presented as the first player in the club's history. Zapotlanejo
Zapotlanejo is a town and municipality in the Mexican state of Jalisco. According to the 2020 census, there were 63,634 inhabitants in the municipality. The municipality has a territorial extension of 643.02 km2. Toponymy Zapotlanejo is a hybrid word, half Nahuatl and half Spanish language, Spanish. The Nahuatl word "Sapote" (from Nahuatl tzapotl) is a term for a soft, edible fruit and "tlan" (place). In addition, the name of the municipality includes the Spanish ending indicating locality "ejo." Climate History The town of Zapotlán was previously known as Zapotlán de los Tecuexes, alluding to the name of its pre-Hispanic inhabitants, the Tecuexes, who established themselves in the area about 1218. Atlas F
The SM-65F Atlas, or Atlas-F, was the final operational variant of the Atlas missile, only differing from the Atlas E in the launch facility and guidance package used. It first flew on 8 August 1961, and was deployed as an operational ICBM between 1961 and 1966. Following retirement as an ICBM, the Atlas-F, along with the Atlas-E, was refurbished for orbital launches as the Atlas E/F. The Atlas E and F also differed in their launch facilities; Atlas E utilized the same coffin silos as Atlas D missiles, with the missile stored horizontally and raised upright for launch. Académicos De Atlas
Académicos de Atlas was a reserve team of Atlas, in 2005-06 season known as Coyotes de Sonora. History In 2004–05 Segunda División de México season, Académicos won the opening and closing champion of group Liguilla de Ascenso and promoted to Ascenso MX. The club was renamed to Coyotes and re-located to Hermosillo, Sonora, but remained as part of Atlas. After a season, the club changed the name back to Académicos. In 2007-08 season, the club was based in Tonalá, Jalisco and in 2008-09 season, in Guadalajara. After the reconstruction of Primera División A, the team folded, but Atlas still had teams played from the 7th division to 2nd division. The Liga TDP is Mexico's fourth tier in the Mexican League System. The Liga TDP is divided into 17 groups. For the 2009/2010 season, the format of the tournament has been reorganized to a home and away format, which all teams will play in their respective group. Ascenso MX
Ascenso MX was the second tier of professional football in Mexico of the Mexican football league system. The champion of the competition was promoted to Liga MX (top-flight tier). The bottom team was relegated to Liga Premier (the third tier). It was sponsored by BBVA through its Mexican subsidiary BBVA, and was officially known as Ascenso BBVA MX. Formerly known as Primera División A (First Division A) the league rebranded in 2009 its name and competition format to Liga de Ascenso. It was rebranded in 2012 as Ascenso MX.
