Club Atlético Del Plata
Club Atlético Del Plata (mostly known as Del Plata) is a defunct Argentine football club that played in Primera División during the 1920s. The club would be later re-established but it finally disappeared in the 1990s. History The club was founded by employees of former "Mercado del Plata", a popular market of Buenos Aires established in 1856 which sold and distributed fruits and vegetables, among other goods. The club was established on 20 September 1915 as Club Atlético Del Plata, taking the name from the market which its founders worked at. The club affiliated to the Argentine Football Association and started to play at the third division (current Primera C) in 1915 staying there until 1918, it then promoted to second division (then called " División Intermedia") finally reaching the Primera División in 1920. Quilmes, Buenos Aires
Quilmes () is a city on the coast of the Rio de la Plata, in the , on the south east of the Greater Buenos Aires. The city was founded in 1666 and it is the seat of the eponymous county. With a population of 230,810, it is located south of the capital of Argentina, the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. History The ''Quilmes'' were a native tribe who lived in the surroundings of Tucumán. Club Atlético Huracán () is an Argentine sports club from the Parque Patricios neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. The club is notable for its football team, that currently plays in the Primera División, the top level of the Argentine football league system. Its home stadium is the Estadio Tomás Adolfo Ducó. Huracán was founded on 1 November 1908 in the Nueva Pompeya neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. The Primera C Metropolitana is one of the two professional leagues that form the fourth level of the Argentine football league system. Primera C Metropolitana is made up of 20 clubs mainly from the city of Buenos Aires and its metropolitan area (Greater Buenos Aires). The other league at level four is the Torneo Federal B, where teams from regional leagues take part. Format Primera C is currently organised into two league tournaments, the Apertura (opening) and the Clausura (closing).
