''Club 60'' is a 2013 Indian comedy drama film produced by Kavee Kumar under the ''Pulse Media'' banner and is directed by Sanjay Tripathi. The film features Farooq Sheikh, Sarika Thakur, Raghubir Yadav and Satish Shah in key roles. The film was Farooq Sheikh's last release before his death on 28 December 2013. Plot After the untimely death of their only son, Iqbaal (Ankit Bathla), neurosurgeon, Dr Tariq Sheikh (Farooq Sheikh) and his wife Dr Saira (Sarika) are unable to put the pieces of their broken life together. Tariq suffers from depression, while Saira struggles to cope with her husband's suicidal tendencies. In an attempt to make a fresh start in life and to get rid of the 'nothingness' that haunts them, they shift to Mumbai from Pune. Farooq Sheikh
Farooq Shaikh (25 March 1948 − 28 December 2013) was an Indian actor, philanthropist and television presenter. He was best known for his work in Hindi films from 1973 to 1993 and for his work in television between 1988 and 2002. He returned to acting in films in 2008 and continued to do so until his death on 28 December 2013. His major contribution was in Parallel Cinema or the New Indian Cinema.
