Cloyes-sur-le-Loir
Cloyes-sur-le-Loir (, literally ''Cloyes on the Loir'') is a former commune on the River Loir, a few kilometres south of the town of Châteaudun in the department of Eure-et-Loir in northern France. On 1 January 2017, it was merged into the new commune Cloyes-les-Trois-Rivières. Population Personalities It was the home of Stephen of Cloyes, a leader of the Children's Crusade. Oaklawn Garden, also known as Oaklawn Gardens, is a botanical garden, park and museum located at 7831 Old Poplar Pike in Germantown, Tennessee, United States. A historic residential home, erected by the original landowner in 1854, is situated on the property. Floral attractions on the property consist of daffodils, azaleas and other native flowers. About of Oaklawn Garden are dedicated to the cultivation of more than 300 varieties of daffodils, an effort that was started in 1924. Boxwood, oak, birch and other species of indigenous trees and shrubs represent the woody plants in the botanical garden and park. Oaklawn Garden is also home to smaller species of native wildlife. Historic items relevant to local cultural history, as well as railroad and local traffic history are on display in the museum exhibit of Oaklawn Garden. Shirley Cloyes
Joseph John DioGuardi (; born September 20, 1940) is an American certified public accountant and a Republican politician. DioGuardi served in the House of Representatives representing the 20th Congressional district of New York from 1985 to 1989. He was the first Albanian American voting member of Congress. He was also the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in New York during the 2010 special election, but lost to incumbent senator Kirsten Gillibrand. DioGuardi, a former partner at Arthur Andersen & Co., also serves as president of the Albanian American Civic League, an organization he runs with his wife, Shirley Cloyes DioGuardi.
