David Cloyd
David Cloyd (born 1974) is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, music producer, and music engineer. After playing for a decade in Brooklyn, New York in the indie rock scene, he was signed to ECR Music Group in 2008. He released his debut album as a singer-songwriter with '' Unhand Me, You Fiend!'' in 2009. The album peaked at No. 1 on eMusic's Album Charts, and according to a review, "took the indie rock scene by storm." His second album, '' I Could Disappear'', included solo versions of his debut album, with Cloyd on vocals, piano, and guitar. Cloyd released a cover of Paul McCartney's 1971 song " Dear Boy" in September 2011. As of 2012, he is Executive Vice President of Creative Operations at ECR Music Group. Paul Cloyd
Paul V. Cloyd (June 13, 1920 – December 28, 2005) was an American basketball player. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, he played college basketball for the University of Wisconsin. He was selected by the Washington Capitols in the 1947 BAA draft, but never played for the team. Cloyd, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound guard-forward, began his professional career with the National Basketball League's Sheboygan Red Skins during the 1947–48 season, when he finished second on the team in scoring to the NBL rookie of the year and league first-team pick Mike Todorovich with 555 points in 60 games. In 1948–49, he scored 336 points in 56 games for Sheboygan, which finished with a 35–29 record and advanced to the NBL playoffs. Timothy Cloyd
J. Timothy Cloyd, Ph.D. is an American educator and higher education administrator, and is currently the 18th president of Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. Cloyd previously served as the president of Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas from 2001 to 2013. He began his duties at Drury University on July 1, 2016, following the retirement of Dr. David Manuel. Career Cloyd began his academic career in 1990 as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. In 1994, Cloyd took a faculty position in the Department of Political Science at the University of Arkansas - Little Rock, where he remained until 1997. Tyler James Cloyd (born May 16, 1987) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies, Seattle Mariners, and Miami Marlins and in the KBO League for the Samsung Lions. Baseball career Cloyd attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he played college baseball for the Nebraska–Omaha Mavericks.
