Cloud Burst
''Cloud Burst'' is a ten-part story within the ''Look and Read'' series of BBC Television programme for primary schools, aimed at improving children's literacy skills. The first episode of Cloud Burst was first broadcast on 24 September 1974; the last (of ten) episodes was first broadcast on 3 December 1974. Plot Whilst playing with a toy plane, Jenny Barber and her brother, Tim, meet a scientist, Ram Pandit, who is working on a secret invention. When Ram is kidnapped apparently by the mysterious Man on a Motor Bike who is working for rivals trying to get information on his work, it is up to the children to find them and stop his invention from falling into the wrong hands. Derek Griffiths
Derek Griffiths (born 15 July 1946) is a British actor, singer, and voice artist who appeared in numerous British children's television series in the 1960s to present and has more recently played parts in television drama. Career Griffiths was known in his early years for his '' Play School'' appearances alongside the likes of Chloe Ashcroft, Johnny Ball and Brian Cant. A talented multi-instrumentalist, he voiced over and sang the theme tune to ''Heads and Tails'', a series of short animal films for children produced by BBC Television, and also sang and played the theme tune to the cartoon '' Bod''. Michael Sheard
Michael Sheard (18 June 1938 – 31 August 2005) was a Scottish character actor who featured in many films and television programmes, and was known for playing villains. His most prominent television role was as strict deputy headmaster Maurice Bronson in the children's series ''Grange Hill'', which he played between 1985 and 1989. Miles Anderson (born 23 October 1947) is a British stage and screen actor, born in the colony of Southern Rhodesia, who has appeared in television serials both in the United Kingdom, and North America. Kenneth Watson (16 November 1931 – 21 July 1998) was a British television actor. He is best known for playing Brian Blair in ''Take the High Road'' in the 1980s, Ralph Lancaster in ''Coronation Street'' from 14 May 1975 to 13 February 1980 and DI Scott in ''Dixon of Dock Green'' from 1972-3, together with numerous minor roles in various sitcoms. Watson was born in London, England in November 1931. He appeared in the ''Doctor Who'' serial ''The Wheel in Space'' as Bill Duggan, and was also booked to play a farmer in a later serial ''The Time Monster'' but was replaced by George Lee. Charles Henry Collingwood (born 30 May 1943) is a Canadian-born British actor. Biography Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, and educated at Sherborne School in Dorset, England, he trained at RADA.
