Cloud2Ground
__NOTOC__ Cloud2Ground sometimes stylized in all lowercase) was an American electronic dance music production duo, consisting of Jeremy Dawson and Chad Petree. Dawson and Petree grew up in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and met when they were teenagers. They played together in various bands, before separating to pursue other projects. Dawson began Cloud2Ground as a solo project and released his first demo under the name in 1996. In 1997 he signed to N*Soul Records and released the album ''E-Majn'' the same year. In 1998 he was rejoined by Petree, and in 1999 they moved to Los Angeles. In 2000, they released a second album, ''The Gate (Beautiful)''. Cloud2Ground's music encompassed a wide range of dance music styles, such as epic trance, progressive house, drum and bass and trip hop. Gregori Chad Petree
Gregori Chad Petree (born Shawnee, Oklahoma) is a musician who is best known as co-lead vocalist and guitarist of American new wave/indie/rock band Shiny Toy Guns. He also contributes music for production libraries such as Killer Tracks. Bands Chad's previous bands included: Paradigm, Cloud2Ground, R.R.D.S., Dangerous Insects, and the 90's pop group PC Quest. PC Quest (1990-1992) Chad participated in this band with his brother, Stephen Petree. Paradigm (1995-1998) Stephen Petree and Chad Petree teamed up again for this band and released three albums on Owl Records label. In 1995, they released ''Fish'' and in 1996 they followed with singles and EP's of various version of ''Too Big for the Garage''. Jeremy Dawson (born in Texas, but raised in Shawnee, Oklahoma, USA) is best known as the keyboardist of the American new wave/indie rock band Shiny Toy Guns. Bands Jeremy was the driving force behind the act Cloud2Ground. He is also the co-founder of Shiny Toy Guns. Cloud2Ground (1996-2000) Bandmate, Chad Petree participated in Cloud2Ground with Jeremy. Slyder The Shiny Toy Guns song " You Are the One" has its roots in Slyder's trance song "Neo", put out under Chad and Jeremy's moniker. Shiny Toy Guns is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 2002. The Lightning Seeds (also known as Lightning Seeds) are an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1989 by Ian Broudie (vocals, guitar, producer), formerly of the bands Big in Japan, Care, and Original Mirrors. The Korg Trinity is a synthesizer music workstation released by Korg in 1995. It was also the first workstation to offer modular expansion for not only sounds, but also studio-grade feature such as ADAT, various sound engine processors, audio recording capability, and more. It was considered one of the most comprehensive music workstations, in term of features, at the time. Access Virus
The Access Virus is a virtual analog synthesizer made by the German company Access Music GmbH. It was first produced in 1997 and has since been upgraded frequently, with the company releasing new models about every two years. Early models include the Virus A, Virus B, and Virus C series, each available in various hardware configurations. In November 2005, the Virus TI series was released, including the 61-key Virus TI Keyboard and the 37-key Virus TI Polar. A small desktop model was released in February 2008 called the Virus TI Snow. A revision of the TI series called TI2 came out in March 2009, featuring faster digital signal processing (DSP) controllers, additional polyphony, more effects in the effect section and a slightly changed design.
