Shreve is a village in Clinton Township, Wayne County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,514 at the 2010 census. Shreve is served by a branch of the Wayne County Public Library. History The village has the name of Thomas Shreve, the original owner of the town site. Geography Shreve is located at (40.683603, -82.022284). According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of , all of it land. It is, however, drained by Shreve Creek, a tributary to the Killbuck Creek. The Killbuck Marsh, locally known as Shreve Swamp, is located outside of the Village limits and part of the Killbuck Creek watershed.
