Clifford Wright (bishop)
Royston Clifford Wright (4 July 1922 – 14 February 2014) was the Anglican Bishop of Monmouth from 1986 to 1991. Church roles Wright was educated at the University of Wales, Cardiff, studied for ordination at St Stephen's House in Oxford and was ordained in 1946. He held curacies in Bedwas, Newport and Walton-on-the-Hill, Liverpool before 17 years as a naval chaplain. In 1968 he became vicar of Blaenavon and then rector of a team ministry in Ebbw Vale from 1974 to 1977. Further appointments as Rural Dean of Pontypool, and Archdeacon of Monmouth Monmouth ( , ; cy, Trefynwy meaning "town on the Monnow") is a town and community in Wales. Clifford Emerson Wright, (September 21, 1927 – December 9, 2014) was a Canadian politician who served as the mayor of Saskatoon, the largest city in the central Canadian province of Saskatchewan, from 1976 to 1988. At the time he left office after 12 years, he was the longest-serving mayor in the city's history, although his tenure has since been surpassed by Don Atchison, who was mayor for 13 years. Early life and career Wright was born and raised in Saskatoon, the fifth of five children to Sam and Ada Wright. He attended Albert and Victoria Elementary School, and Nutana Collegiate. After high school, he studied engineering at the University of Saskatchewan, although he left before completing his degree to join Smith Brothers and Wilson in 1947 as an apprentice carpenter. Bellator MMA Wright made his Bellator debut on May 18, 2012, at Bellator 69 against Josh Quayhagen, losing via unanimous decision. Wright faced Bobby Reardanz at Bellator 75 on October 5, 2012.
