Cliff Warren
Cliff Warren (born March 8, 1968) is an American college basketball coach who is currently an assistant coach for the SMU Mustangs. He previously served as the head coach for Jacksonville University. Playing career Born in Silver Spring, Maryland, Warren played collegiately at Mount St. Mary's University from 1986 to 1990. Warren was a two-year starter for the Mountaineers, where he finished his career ranked in the top five in assists and top 50 in scoring in the school record book. As a senior in 1989-90, he averaged 10.4 points and 5.0 assists per game, while leading The Mount to its first winning season at the Division I level. Assistant coach Warren returned to his alma mater in 1994 to take his first coaching job as an assistant under Jim Phelan. SMU Mustangs Men's Basketball
The SMU Mustangs men's basketball team represents Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas and currently competes in the American Athletic Conference of NCAA Division I college basketball. The Mustangs are currently coached by Rob Lanier. In 104 years of basketball, SMU's record is 1,377–1,237. The 2010–11 Florida Gators men's basketball team represented the University of Florida in the sport of basketball during the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, 2010–11 college basketball season. The Gators competed in NCAA Division I, Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Hugh Durham
Hugh Nelson Durham (born October 26, 1937) is a retired American basketball coach. He was head coach at Florida State, Georgia, and Jacksonville. He is the only head coach to have led two different programs to their first Final Four appearances. Early life A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Durham was a highly recruited three-sport star at Eastern High School, where his teammate was the actor Ned Beatty. He was an all-state quarterback and all-region in basketball. He chose to play basketball in college and accepted a scholarship offer from Florida State University. College career At Florida State University, Durham is one of the most prolific scorers in Seminole basketball history.
