Clement Endresen
Clement Endresen (born 8 November 1949) is a Norwegian judge. He was born in Stavanger as the son of politician and judge Egil Endresen. He graduated as cand.jur. from the University of Oslo in 1974, and then worked as lecturer there from 1975 to 1977. He then worked as an attorney in Sandnes District Court from 1977, in the Office of the Attorney General of Norway from 1979 and in a law firm from 1980 to 2006. Egil Endresen
Egil Endresen (28 April 1920 – 10 May 1992) was a Norwegian judge and politician for the Conservative Party. He was born in Stavanger as a son of Gustav Adolf Emil Endresen (1882–1955) and Alida Anda (1883–1974). He took his examen artium 1940, commerce school in 1941 and also took military training as a Captain. He studied law at the University of Oslo, and graduated with the cand.jur. degree in 1947. He worked as a secretary in the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and the Police from 1947 to 1948, then as a deputy judge in Ryfylke District Court in and Jæren District Court from 1949 to 1950. He was an attorney in Stavanger from 1950 to 1963, from 1960 a barrister with access to work with Supreme Court cases. From 1962 to 1965 he worked with tourism in Rogaland. Endresen was a member of the executive committee of Stavanger city council from 1955 to 1963. Sandnes District Court
Sandnes District Court ( no, Sandnes tingrett) was a district court in Rogaland county, Norway. The court was based at the ''Sandnes Courthouse'' located on Olav V's plass in the town of Sandnes. The court existed from until 2021. It had jurisdiction over the municipalities of Gjesdal and Sandnes. Cases from this court could be appealed to Gulating Court of Appeal. The court was a court of first instance. Its judicial duties were mainly to settle criminal cases and to resolve civil litigation as well as bankruptcy. The administration and registration tasks of the court included death registration, issuing certain certificates, performing duties of a notary public, and officiating civil wedding ceremonies. Knut Olav Åmås (born 19 January 1968) is a Norwegian writer, editor and politician for the Conservative Party. He hails from Odda. He holds a cand.philol. degree in philosophy, having taken his master's thesis on Ludwig Wittgenstein at the University of Bergen. He later took a dr.philos. degree on a biographical thesis about Olav H. Hauge.
