Clemens Von Wedemeyer
Clemens von Wedemeyer (born 1974 in Göttingen, Germany) is a German video artist. He studied fine arts at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig, with Astrid Klein. In 2004 von Wedemeyer produced, together with Maya Schweizer, a documentary movie: ''Metropolis, Report from China'' which was finished in 2006. In 2008, he was a resident at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He lives and works in Berlin and Leipzig, Germany. Göttingen (, , ; nds, Chöttingen) is a college town, university city in Lower Saxony, central Germany, the Capital (political), capital of Göttingen (district), the eponymous district. MAXXI – National Museum Of The 21st Century Arts
MAXXI ( it, Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo, italic=no, "national museum of 21st-century arts") is a national museum of contemporary art and architecture in the Flaminio neighborhood of Rome, Italy. The museum is managed by a foundation created by the Italian ministry of cultural heritage. The building was designed by Zaha Hadid, and won the Stirling Prize of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 2010. History An international design competition for the design of the museum building was won by Zaha Hadid. Her submission included five separate structures, of which only one was completed. It was built on the site of a former military barracks, the Caserma Montello, incorporating parts of it. The museum took more than ten years to build, and opened to the public in 2010. Kadist is an interdisciplinary contemporary arts organization with an international contemporary art collection. In addition to being a collecting body, Kadist hosts artists residencies and produces exhibitions, publications, and public events. The first location was opened in Paris in 2006 by Vincent Worms and Sandra Terdjman, and a San Francisco, California location was added in 2011 in the Mission District. The Frankfurt Art Association (german: link=no, Frankfurter Kunstverein) is an art museum founded in 1829 by a group of influential citizens of the city of Frankfurt, Germany. The aim of the institution is to support the arts in the city, which was an important center of trade and business. Works of art were bought and exhibitions organized in order to open access to art and culture for the public.
