Clear Static
Clear Static was an American rock band from Los Angeles, California. They gained success after winning a Teen Choice Award through online votes. Their music features a rock based background, with a diversion into New Wave dance during their final years together. History Clear Static's members were friends from Oak Park High School, and began playing together in punk rock bands.Corey Apar, Clear Staticat Allmusic Eventually, the group coalesced around a shared interest in New Wave bands of the 1980s like Duran Duran and The Fixx. The Fixx are a rock band from London, England, founded in 1979. The band's hits include "One Thing Leads to Another", "Saved by Zero", "Are We Ourselves?", and "Secret Separation", each of which charted in the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100, as well as mainstream rock chart hits "Red Skies", "Stand or Fall", "Driven Out" and "Deeper and Deeper", which was featured on the soundtrack of the 1984 film '' Streets of Fire''. Lizard King Records was a London-based independent record label founded in 2002 by Martin Heath and Dominic Hardisty. History The label signed US rock band The Killers in July 2003. Jeffrey Steven Pilson (born January 19, 1959) is an American musician best known for being the bass player in the glam metal band Dokken and currently classic rock band Foreigner. Tommy Henriksen (born February 21, 1964) is an American musician from Port Jefferson, New York, best known for his work as a guitarist, bassist and songwriter with Alice Cooper, Hollywood Vampires and German metal band Warlock.
