Clear Creek High School is located in League City, Texas, in the Clear Creek Independent School District. The school serves most of League City and the cities of Kemah, Clear Lake Shores, Nassau Bay, and Webster. The school colors are maroon and white. The school's mascot is Willie The Wildcat. History Clear Creek High School was established in 1957 as the first high school in the Clear Creek Independent School District. Its first graduating class was the Class of 1958. By 1972, Clear Creek High School was overpopulated and a second district high school, Clear Lake High School was opened. League City, Texas
League City is a city in the U.S. state of Texas, in Galveston County, within the metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 112,129. The city of League City has a small portion north of Clear Creek within Harris County zoned for residential and commercial uses. It is home to several waterside resorts, such as South Shore Harbor Resort and Conference Center and Waterford Harbor and Yacht Club Marina, popular with residents of nearby Houston. Between 2000 and 2005, League City surpassed Galveston as Galveston County's largest city. History League City was settled at the former site of a Karankawa Indian village. Phil Cardella
Phil Ryan Cardella (born July 9, 1976) is an American mixed martial arts fighter. He formerly fought as a lightweight in the World Extreme Cagefighting organization. All but one of Cardella’s triumphs have come by first-round submission. He holds a 3rd degree black belt in ''Brazilian Jiu Jitsu'' under Relson Gracie, as well as a 3rd degree black belt in ''Taekwondo'' and a 2nd Degree black belt in ''Hapkido''. James Patton (defensive Lineman)
James Gregory Patton (born January 5, 1970) is a former American football defensive lineman who played for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL) for two seasons, including and was on their roster when they went to Super Bowl XXVIII. Before that, he played college football at the University of Texas at Austin where he was a two-time All-Conference player and before that at Clear Creek High School in League City, Texas. College career Patton played for the Texas Longhorns, earning First-team All-Southwest Conference honors in 1990 and 1991. He was also the MVP of the Longhorns' 1991 team. Winnipeg Blue Bombers
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are a professional Canadian football team based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Blue Bombers compete in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member club of the league's West division. They play their home games at IG Field. Chase Patrick Ortiz (born May 22, 1985) is a former professional American and Canadian Football defensive end. He was signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2008. Clifford Valmore Olander (born April 15, 1955) is a former American football quarterback who played three seasons with the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). ''Akalabeth: World of Doom'' () is a role-playing video game released in 1979 for the Apple II. It was published by California Pacific Computer Company in 1980.
