Clayton Lamb
Clayton Andrew Lamb (born 1 July 1964) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He also played for the West Adelaide Football Club and Glenelg Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Lamb made his senior SANFL debut for West Adelaide in 1981 shortly after his 17th birthday, and was a regular fixture in their team throughout the 1980s (though he missed selection in their 1983 SANFL Premiership win over Sturt). A player with a long left foot kick, Lamb played mostly as a midfielder or half forward and topped West Adelaide's goal-kicking with 38 in 1988. The South Australian National Football League, or SANFL ( or ''S-A-N-F-L''), is an Australian rules football league based in the Australian state of South Australia. It is also the state's governing body for the sport. John Hinge
John Hinge (born 6 June 1986) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was originally from the Glenelg Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Hinge played his only AFL game on 5 May 2007 against Collingwood at AAMI Stadium. Named on the bench, he performed solidly in a game where Adelaide was defeated, but limped off the ground after a hamstring injury. Hinge was delisted from the Crows squad at the end of the 2007 season after playing just one game. Subiaco Oval (; nicknamed Subi) was a sports stadium in Perth, Western Australia, located in the suburb of Subiaco. It was opened in 1908 and closed in 2017 after the completion of the new Perth Stadium in Burswood. Subiaco Oval was the highest capacity stadium in Western Australia and one of the main stadiums in Australia, with a final capacity of 43,500 people. The West Coast Eagles are a professional Australian rules football club based in Perth, Western Australia. The club was founded in 1986 as one of two expansion teams in the Australian Football League (AFL), then known as the Victorian Football League. The club plays its home games at Perth Stadium and has its headquarters at Lathlain Park. 1991 AFL Season
The 1991 AFL season was the 95th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), which was known previously as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The season ran from 22 March until 28 September, and comprised a 22-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top six clubs, an increase from the top five clubs which had contested the finals from 1972-1990. The season saw expansion of the league to fifteen clubs, with the admission of the newly established Adelaide Crows, based in Adelaide, South Australia. The Sturt Football Club, nicknamed The Double Blues, is a semi-professional Australian rules football club based in the suburb of Unley, South Australia, which plays in the South Australian National Football League. Founded in 1901 by the Sturt Cricket Club, the club initially struggled to make the finals, however, in 1915 they won their first Premiership. The 1986 VFL draft was the third formal draft to provide recruitment opportunities to clubs participating in Australian rules football's elite Victorian Football League. Held on 26 November 1986 after the end of the 1986 VFL season, it consisted only of the national draft itself, without a subsequent rookie or preseason draft. It was the first draft to be held since two initial drafts in 1981 and 1982, and as drafts have been held every year since, it is considered to be the first of the modern drafts.
