Clayton Fernandes Silva
Clayton Fernandes Silva (born 11 January 1999), simply known as Clayton Silva or Clayton, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a striker for Vasco da Gama. Club career Born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Clayton played amateur football before initially joining in January 2019. In March, however, after never signing a deal with the club, he moved to Lajeadense, and initially played for the under-20 side before making his first team debut later in the year. On 19 December 2019, Clayton was presented at Juventude, after a partnership with Lajeadense was established. He appeared rarely before moving to Série D side Guarany de Sobral the following September, where he was a regular starter. Ahead of the 2021 season, Clayton signed for Globo, and helped his side to win the Campeonato Potiguar by scoring ten goals. On 29 June of that year, he joined Vila Nova in the Série B. Copa Verde
The Copa Verde ( en, Green Cup) is an annual regional knockout football competition in Brazil that started in 2014, and played by 24 teams from the North and Central-West regions, plus Espírito Santo (Espírito Santo state was included because they competed in the old Copa Centro Oeste). Initially, the champion of the tournament gained a place in the next year's Copa Sudamericana. With the changes implemented by CONMEBOL in 2016 causes a competition no longer qualify in Copa Sudamericana from edition. The champion will now have a spot in the third round of the Copa do Brasil of the following year. The cup is organized by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), with two-legged playoff games played from between the 24 participating teams. The Copa Federação Gaúcha de Futebol, commonly known as the Copa FGF, is an annual cup competition organized by the Rio Grande do Sul state football federation for clubs that are in the first, second and third divisions of the Campeonato Gaúcho. It is held in the second half of the year and usually clubs participating in the higher levels of the Campeonato Brasileiro do not participate with the first team squad, using his academy. The competition was founded in 2004, being the most important knockout cup competition in Rio Grande do Sul football.
