Claudiu Vaișcovici
Claudiu Vaișcovici (born 14 October 1962) is a Romanian former football striker. Club career Claudiu Vaișcovici was born on 14 October 1962 in Galați. He was brought at Sportul Studențesc București from junior club CSȘ Pajura, making his Divizia A debut on 4 April 1981 in a 2–0 victory against Universitatea Craiova. Afterwards, he had some heart problems, which kept him off the field for two years, until Ilie Hagioglu, the president of Divizia B club, Dunărea Galați noticed him in a friendly and gave him the chance to play for his team. In 1985 he transferred to neighboring team, Oțelul Galați which he hepled promote to the first league. In 1987 Vaișcovici went to play for Victoria București, where he also made his debut in European competitions, playing 4 games and scoring one goal in the 1987–88 UEFA Cup. Galați
Galați (, , ; also known by other alternative names) is the capital city of Galați County in the historical region of Western Moldavia, in eastern Romania. Galați is a port town on the Danube River. The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. 1991 Soviet First League
Soviet First League 1991 was the last season of the Soviet First League. With the collapse of the Soviet Union the football structure was reformed. All of its participants have entered the Top Divisions of the republics of their origin, except of ''Dinamo Sukhumi'' that because of the 1992-93 War in Abkhazia was dissolved. Due to the 1991 Soviet coup d'état attempt, a process of dissolution of the Soviet Union accelerated as well as a process of decommunization in former union republics. Lică Stavarache Movilă (born 21 October 1961) is a Romanian former footballer, who played primarily as a midfielder. Club career Lică Movilă was born in Brăila on 21 October 1961 and made his Divizia A debut on 21 June 1981 for SC Bacău in a 5–2 loss against Argeș Pitești. Mircea Rednic
Mircea Rednic (born 9 April 1962) is a Romanian football coach and former player who played as a defender. Club career Mircea Rednic, nicknamed "Puriul" was born on 9 April 1962 in Hunedoara and until he was 14 years old he played table tennis, handball, volleyball and chess before starting to play football at Corvinul Hunedoara's youth center. Coach Mircea Lucescu gave him his debut for Corvinul's senior squad in the 1979–80 Divizia B season, also giving him his Divizia A debut on 2 August 1980 in a 4–1 victory against ASA Târgu Mureș. Marian Damaschin (born 1 May 1965) is a Romanian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career Marian Damaschin was born on 1 May 1965 in Urziceni, Romania, starting to play football at Rapid București, including spending one season in Divizia A in which he scored two goals in 25 matches.
